There was an old man with a beard,
who said, "it is just as I feared--
two owls and a hen,
four larks and a wren,
have all built their nests in my beard!"
-Edward Lear

I found this blog while working on a project for my preschool class. I was trying to find the items that are mentioned in this Edward Lear poem and I came across your wonderful illustration of it. I am in the process of cutting and gluing it into a felt board story to go with the poem for my class of 3-5 year olds. I hope that you do not mind my using your work for this project. I will give full credit to anyone who asks about where I got that great image.
